My father who passed away when I was only 16 was without question the biggest influence on my life. Although he’s been gone far longer than I our time spent together his presence still affects my everyday life. What’s now known as the Monaco 98’ has been mine to cherish and maintain for my daughter. Despite being a “modern” watch it begun to patina. The chronograph registers are now yellowing and the original box has begun show its age. But it will be a special day when I relinquish this piece to her. One can only hope I will be there to give it to her.
