It was always an aspiration to get a Rolex when growing up. I eventually saved up enough to purchase a 1991 Rolex Datejust 16233 (my birth year piece). I fell so deeply in love with the piece that I also wanted the modern iteration to celebrate my 30th birthday. I was absolutely gleaming with joy when my AD called me 2 weeks before my birthday to deliver me my 2021 Rolex Datejust 126234. 30 years apart and both as classic as ever.
