Robin

This necklace belonged to my paternal grandmother. Though a poor immigrant herself, she volunteered tirelessly to help others less fortunate. This was gifted to her by one of the charitable organizations she worked for in recognition of her many years of service. Her initials are engraved in the center of the heart. Although it’s a beautiful necklace by itself, it always reminds me of the value of kindness toward and compassion for others.
