This is the watch that my father wore nearly every day of my childhood, and recently he gifted it to me. He didn’t give it for any special event or occasion, nor because he was on his deathbed. Instead he gave it to me at a time in my life when he thought I needed it. Of course he was right – it meant so much to me when I received it.
